Upon Commissioning a portrait by Anne Scheurich, a simple contractual agreement will be prepared to specify the size, number of subjects, and price. Upon signing the agreement a deposit of fifty percent of the total price is required.

An appointment should then be arranged to further discuss the setting, clothing, and other relevant details. if the client has any preconcieved notions of the composition, general coloration or mood of the portrait, it should be discussed at this time.

Anne prefers to meet with her subjects prior to photographing them if possible. At this point she likes to become familiar with the intrests and personality of her subjects. If the portrait is for corporate use, she would like to visit the company if possible.

The subjects are then photographed if necessary. The artist and the client wll review the photos and mutually choose the photos to be used. As the portrait progresses, occasional sittings by the subject in Anne’s studio are preferred but not required.

Upon final approval, the portrait will be signed. The remaining fifty percent of the commission fee is due at that time. Satisfaction is guaranteed.of the commission fee is due at that time. Satifaction is guaranteed.
